Hi Hannah! You can probably use any nut - my second choice would be walnuts. It won't have quite the same flavor but it will work!

The packages are usually 11-12 oz. The layered bars are pretty no fail - you could certainly substitute another kind of chips. You could use semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips or even use a white chocolate or vanilla chip.

Enjoy! And happy baking!

Oooooh, that fudge looks absolutely delicious!!! *sigh* I absolutely have to make that immediately =) although maybe not today as I've already turned out a Chocolate Spice Cake with Chocolate Icing and a Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing.. you can never bake too much!!
Just a question..can you make the Butter Pecan Fudge without pecans? Or can I substitute another nut? Pecan nuts are kinda hard to find in Africa!! =D
Regarding the Layered Candy Bars, how many ounces is one package of chocolate chips? Also, butterscotch chips aren't available here so could I just use extra milk chocolate?
Thanks!
